Our Mission
We are an independent Baptist church. Our desire is to preach and teach God's word as it is to people as they are, both here and around the world. Landmark Baptist Church in Elkins, WV supports 42 missions works globally. Our church feels that our highest priority is to take the gospel to those who are living and dying without the Lord Jesus Christ as their Saviour. We base our belief on the Great Commission that Christ Himself gave in Matthew 28:19-20.
Our Members
In reality a church is not bricks and mortar, neither is it carpet and pews. We do have all these things. . . . but if they were gone today, the church would still exist because the church is the people. Our church family consists of a great number of ordinary people who have an extra ordinary God. You will find that our family is warm and friendly. We are a group of people who realize, that truly, we are all simply sinners saved by God’s loving grace.
